  Ann Wax has been a health care professional for over 30 years, as a Registered Nurse, health educator, medicaid facilitator, and geriatric care manager. After serving as a nurse at several major teaching hospitals, including the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, Ann taught psychiatric nursing as a clinical instructor for the Nassau County B.O.C.E.S. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program. She continues to be an active member of the medical community, serving as an oncology nurse in a private medical practice in Manhasset, New York, and working with a law firm in Great Neck, New York specializing in elder law. Ann has created many websites for the older mature adult to help them with the aging process. She also has a column in The Queens Courier called "Dear June". In which she gives advice to the readers regarding maintaining good health sexuality and self improvement.
